Feedback
Learning ways to give and and receive feedback are both valuable skills that will improve your work.
To both give and receive useful feedback, keep in mind a few key principles: First, try to clarify your intention for getting feedback, and create scenarios for collecting feedback that are appropriate for that intention.
And remember, you don’t always have to agree with the feedback you get. But, it is always helpful to try to identify why you might be receiving certain feedback.
In any setting where people have diverse experiences and goals, this can be challenging. That can also be what makes it especially rich and fulfilling because it gives you a wealth of kinds of points of view.
