A multi-phase project that began as a study of how the iPhone 5c captured blue skies but eventually became a chronicle of what it meant to be Black. The second phase included more text and was about abstraction and empathy and explores video format and the idea of text as performance. The final phase of the project is a sculpture: an analemmatic sundial with photos of the various sky blues and poetic text.
