Metaphor Brainstorm

Make a list of all possible metaphors for your project or idea. Try visual, textual, aural, tactile, gustatory, and olfactory.
One of the keys to this exercise is to do it in groups of ~3; the creator should exhaust all possibilities in a lightning round, share out with the others, and do a second round based on quick (non-prescriptive)feedback. Promoting students to think beyond the textual can be fun and productive. Examples might include: your project is like ice cream, or an icicle, or an ice cream truck!
