Interviewing

Interviewing can be scary- from reaching out (politely and persistently) to managing the interview! But what you learn from interviewing “experts” (from microbioloogists to amateur gardeners to one’s game-fanatic niece) brings you knowledge that’s unattainable from library research. Learn to be an active listener, come prepared, find out as much as you can about the interview subject’s particular angle or how they came to their topic of expertise.
