Enspiral, a network of entrepreneurs originally based in New Zealand, are committed to rethinking how we collaborate.
“Mad Tea” uses the zoom chat function. The facilitator asks a question, and tells everyone they have 30 seconds to come up with an answer.
The trick is to WAIT to push “send” until everyone has finished writing before anyone enters “return,” creating a flurry of responses.
The group is invited to read over all the responses, and generate a conversation.
This “think” and then “send” format can be easily adapted to in-person activities, too, by giving participants time to write down their own answer, and then share with he person next to them, and then have a few share out.
