Speculation Briefs
Create a slide presentation of any of the following:
- How would a feminist bathroom function and what would it look like?
- Design a kitchen that accommodates different abilities and species?
- Given climate change, economic inequity, and cultural preference: what should people be eating?
- Why do we use currency? Invent an alternative.

These could be three separate assignments, or students can choose one. The projects should include an analysis of an issue their project addresses, as well as design documents (or napkin sketches). You could also suggest researching into other speculative works produced in architecture, alternative economies, etc.
